Waz good People!.....well yeah, i did a mini me to my stock 1.5 engine.....that **** blew....... the head bolts where tighten to much! live and learn<but i used a torque stick , ?? i dunno blah...... so i dumped a y8 in my eg it runs way better and alot stronger,all i have is airmass headers, home made cold air intake, Nx EFI Kit< havent used it cuz i need a clutch...but i ordered a Clutch Matsters Clutch......But Yeah i just wanted to Show you guys wat i did......


P.s. yes i kno the Body isnt the best and the engine bay is a mess.........but i'll clean it all up ,when i put the clutch in, and finish installing the nitrious.....the body work is wat im working on now!

may be you can point me the right way what distributor did you use my local shop said that thay would not do the same swap that the distributor would not fit

 

i used a 92-95 dx dizzy.....in other words my stock one.....tell ur local shop to become a Ht Memeber and Read...lol....its in so many Forums that the dx obd-1 fits the d16y8 engine perfectly all the bolts fit ..........hope it helped

the distributor from any SOHC non-vtec engine will also work on a D16Y8 BTW...it is cute..i love it!

The Mini-me Blew....i just put the z6 head on my b7 block, i used my b7 intake manny, z6 head gasket, z6 dizzy, torqued everthing by the book, and one day i was driving and it started smoken, smelled like anti-Freeze........i popped my hood....every thing looked out..so i thought it was just the head gasket.....took the oil cap off m it was white so i knew that went.....towed the car to my house.... took the head off and when i went to un screw the bolts........they just came out
...i pulled 4 straight out and the rest ..where loose............lol........its kinda funny,but im alot Happier wit my y8...........

p.s.My Boy Bought a "Carbon Fiber" Hood And Painted it Black...For Thief Reasons....
