extra oxygen sensor hole....oxygen sensor plug?
i bought headers awhile ago and installed them. theres 2 holes meant for the oxygen sensors and both holes have the o2 sensors in them. now i bought a high flow catalytic converter and there is a hole for an oxygen sensor. my headers came with a bolt (plug) to fill in the hole for the oxygen sensor but the high flow cat did not. of course i threw the other 2 bolts (plugs) out and i am now in need of one. is there someplace that i can buy one? or am i gonna have to weld something to cover it? thanks.
we have plugs and bungs, sorry we cant split, but if you need one, 20 shipped. they are stainless steel thats why they are a little more. let me know. i can have them out to you monday.
http://www.atpturbo.com sells a o2 sensor plug. Hope that helps
I had the same problem with the exception that my bolt came out while I was driving(Mega Loud) and so I went to a local hardware shop and both a new cast iron bolt. Check with ur local hardware store, or pipe supply place. It was like 35 cents I think. Fixed the problem and has been great ever since.

Picked an M18x1.50 up this morning, worked perfect. The one I got was 4cm long though, so I had to cut it with the dremel and a dull hacksaw. It took me like an hour, but it's in and works like a charm.

Don't be insulted, but the feeling is far from mutual.

I go to my local exhaust shop and he gives me those plugs for free. He says some cats come with a plug in them from the supplier and he usually ends up throwing them out when he gets too many of them piled up.

I was actually going to try that, but I figured the spark plug wouldn't clear because it's on the test pipe. The bolt only cost $3 anyways....

Yeah true, but I find more change than that under my seat regularley. And $3 Canadian would buy about 4 liters where I am right now. That's about 1.05 gallons.
