Default So I did my Compression test.

D15b1 With 163,xxx miles

Cyl 1 -- 170
Cyl 2 -- 169
Cyl 3 -- 170
Cyl 4 -- 174

Looks good for my Head swap (A6)

Okay? Before you do the head swap, tou should consider why you are gonna do it. You might try switching the A6 cam. That is the only thing that is different performance-wise... Just a thought.

2- 195
3- 197
4- 227 (?)

i was worried alittle about #1

Are you sure?

I know the a6 cam would be a nice upgrade, but I thought the a6 head would bump the c/r about .1 - .2

Or am I Wrong about this?

Anyways if they are the same I am putting a y8 Headgasket on to bump the compression a little ( .2 - .3 ).

Sounds like 4 might be burning some oil.

The Head casting is the same. So it wont affect the compression. Use the y8 headgasket if you wanna bump it up.

Word ! !

I will just swap the cam cause I know "I" have changed my oil every two weeks for the last 3 years. . . . I get free oil and filters and have acess to a lift when every I want.
