Questions about the 4g cars
1. Will a cable tranny match up to a d15b8(94 cx) motor and original cx clutch?
2. Will a d15b8 run off a d15b2 ecu? I plan on putting the dpfi manifold on it and hook it up to the obd0 harness.
3. Do I need the front motor mount?
4. My car is a 90 hatchback base model(std i think), I was told I can only use std axles is that true?
There are probably alot more, but this is a goods start.
here is a pic of my project car.
Thanks a million!

1. Yes a cable tranny from a 4g will bolt up you have to use the same yr flywheel, pressure plate and clutch of the tranny
2. Not sure about the ecu's
3. The only motor mount you need to change is the driver side make sure you also change the bracket that bolts onto the block
4. If you gonna use DX or Si axles you need to change/swap the spindles
but yes you can use your stock axles but only with the stock spindles

2. the ecu controls the intake and such so if u use the intake that matches the ecu i think it would be ok
3. the front and rear monts r torque mounts they hold the motor from moving front to back
so the front mount is needed becouse it is a torque mount
so when the engine is torqued the engine can fly forward and brake the 2 side mounts.
