swaping in Eg Cx Hatch
I kno every body is gonna say search, but i have been and havent found the exact answers im looking for the cx. I planning to swap a b18b or b16b in to my hatch, i never swap a motor before. I kno or i think i kno i can use my motor mounts for both swaps, but wat about axels (i think not )? I kno i need the motor, tranny, ecu, but will i need any harnesses? and is there anything im missing?

you will need a 99-00 si rear tranny mount (firewall side), a CR-V timing belt mount (motor side), axles, half shaft, a full harness from your old motor and your new motor. When we did my LS, we used the stock Y7 harness, extended the secondary O2 sensor, and replaced the entire intake manifold harness with the LS part.

No. You need the mounts I said. You need the 99-00 si rear tranny bracket that mounts to the body of the car for ANY b-series swap into a hatch. And to reuse your driver's side timing belt mount that's on your body, you have to swap out the timing belt mount on the motor for one from a CR-V.

ok so wat can i use from my hatch, except for the harness, and the mount? Im kinda on a budget, but if i need all of this i think i might wait and just pay a shop to swap it? i thought if i bought a obd1 sir b16 with all the parts to swap it it would just hook right up.

Rule of thumb:
If some retarded noob with a chassis code in his name asks a question and doesn't say what car he has .... one would assume that he drives a car SIMILAR or EQUAL to his user name.
Guess that went out the window.
Read that.

How about this - you suck at searching? This info is so common, you can find this info scrawled on public restroom doors.
