Any write-ups on how to do these?

Where is the sound deadening and how would i remove it, I'm guessing its just to save weight?

um, youve gotta take your entire interior out to get at it all. its just tar like stuff on the ground that is really dense, to make driving less annoying (by keeping it quieter). i personally think this is a pain unless and foolish. you just chip it off using dry ice to freeze it up.

removing sound deading is a good idea, so long as you're also dieting to save another 10lbs. i think it's along the lines of 15lbs saved and youre car's gonna be ALOT louder too. ive driven in a guys' ek civic with the deadening taken out and interior put back in and it was just annoyingly loud on the highway.

15 pounds isnt worth taking out the whole interior and buying dry ice, but thanks for the info

Its definetly a pain to remove the deading material. It also takes a long time. I wouldn't do it unless you think 10 pounds will make a difference or if you are really that bored.

well dude, youre not gonna get too far without putting dry ice on it first. one of my buddies actually peeled the **** off with his fingernails and it hurts just thinking about how he pulled that off. with dry ice itll take hardly anytime or hassle at all to get it off.

oh i forgot... id say to leave the car alone and ponder things to do for your g/f, wife or a person you like. sometimes it really makes things better and on a crappy night like tonight, theres not alot else to do.
