i guess this is the only forum that i havent shared it with yet, but i got myself a new project rex a few months ago. its a 90 si with a billion miles on it but its got NO rust. the car also had factory floormats, armrest, cd player, fog lights, mudflaps, and sunroof wind deflector. i found the car on ebay and made a deal with the guy over the phone. well, after about 3 months of being scammed, i got the car delivered. the car has some front end damage and was fixed very ghetto-ly. the headlight had wood shoved behind it to keep it up, the front bumper was ducktaped and bondoed, the hood had the worst rattlecan spray job i had ever seen until i noticed the rad support. the motor burned oil, it was lowered on cut stock springs, and the exhaust had been bottomed out one too many times.
well, all this week i finally made room in the garage to get this thing in there to work on it. the interior is completely stripped so i can install a cage and fix all the stuff that it needs. i pulled the whole front end off and pulled the motor so i can steam clean the engine bay and get ready for my jdm front. next, im ganna tear the whole suspension apart and install some poly bushings. i just ordered a set of koni yellows and gc's and im hopefully getting my handso on a jimfab front x-member. my plans for the motor are to eventually swap in a built ls vtec and turbo it. before i get into swapping in the motor, however, im going through the whole car and replacing all the mouldings and seals because they are all dry rotted. i took some pics of the car and when i get around to having them hosted, ill post em up here.
ill keep updating this thread when i get around to doing something to it but i dont plan on driving the car until this time next year...
