Default inverter

noob to tig, I just got a 90 amp tig inverter as a gift from a friend.

I don't know how to use this thing, but I really want to learn. I have been reading the threads and find some of the welding terms that I am not sure what it is.

Back-purge, what process is that?

I saw a post on fusion welding pipes, so no filler can this process be strong enough for manifolds?

Thanks
