I got a shift light and have gotten mixed responses about the color of the wire in the gauge cluster that carries the tach signal. I need to wire that wire to my shift light, but what is the EXACT color of the one to splice into?

Its a 92 CX, i am pretty sure the RPM signal is behind there somewhere?

Blue wire.

You could also wire up to the ECU (thats what i do). Search because theres plenty of these threads.

 

Is it an ALL BLUE wire, or does it have a colored line on it?

From what i remember it should be an all blue wire thats actually inside your engine bay alone. Its by the driver shock tower harness thats next to the MC and BB.
