here's the deal....i got this car yesterday...192k on it, its an 89 honda prelude 2.0si...the car has worked all day, but when i drive i kind of hear a slight sound (not grinding, more like rubbing) whenever the clutch pedal is not pressed, when it is pressed however, the sound is gone. what is happening???

also, today, i went to the store, came out started it up, and it wouldn't go into gear, i checked the fluid, a tad bit dirty but it was full...there might have been a leak under my car i'm not sure, i didnt recognize the spot until after i had moved the car...anyways so the car wouldn't go into gear, but finally i struggled and put it into reverse...when i let the clutch out, that rubbing sound was LOUDER significantly and the car would move but make a thudding sound!!!! then i put it into neutral and shut the car off, didnt know what was wrong with it, never happened before...so i decided to see if it would drive...i put into first and drove around the parking lot, felt really harsh too, then i tried shifting and it felt like it engaged really harsh with a thud. it wouldnt go into gear!!! so i parked it.

i left it there until about 2 hours later when i came back...i got in, started it up and tried driving it but it was wicked sketchy and wouldn't move. in neutral i wasn't able to let off the clutch pedal, or it would stall, it acted as if it was in 1st gear while the shifter was placed in the middle (i made sure it wasn't in gear at the time, don't worry) then i tried putting it into reverse, took a little but i got it in. when the clutch met the contact point it made a loud thud (kind of a little high pitch noise as well) and jumped back a little, so i pressed the clutch in and turned the car off....

i have no clue what is wrong with my car and have some stuff i need to do before thanksgiving, any clue on what it is or what i need so i can get it right away!?!? thanks for any help...please email me with any answers or suggestions at eclipsegst313@aol.com and put the subject *prelude tranny*
