Default Organic brake pads bad for slotted/drilled rotors?

The reason I asked is because I plan to use slotted rotors with EBC green stuff, which are organic. A friend of mine told me that drilled and slotted rotors say to only use metallic brake pads. Is this true?

Maybe you should upgrade a level to EBC Yellow Stuff. Also, on a side note- EBC does make slotted rotors, so maybe you should use their rotors if you are worried about it.
