Default Should I go B20VTEC or just rebuild my B18C1...need advice

I'm having a tough time deciding what I sould do. Currently I have a 97 B18C1, LS crank and B16 pistons. I want to rebuild. I just wanted to see what opinions people had. Sell the block and pistons. Buy a cheap bare B20 and upgrade the pistons and rods. Or just upgrade the pistons and rods in my current block. Do you think it would be worth the extra money and trouble to go B20VTEC and worth the difference in hp/tq?

Sleeve your block, bore to 84mm, and use the LS crank with some good forged rods and some nice light pistons...

Cost is an issue. I'm not sure I want to pay to resleeve and then buy new pistons and rods. I was figuring a B20VTEC would be much cheaper.
