Subs mounted in the seat pan?
So I want to get some bass out of my car, but absolutely hate exposed systems. So, I had thought about buying two of the 8" L5's and mounting them in a fiberglass enclosure using the seatpans since they only need .33 cubic feet. Can any of you audiophiles tell me if this is a good idea or not? TIA

well from a strickly SQ point of view, under the seats is the last place you want to put the sub. why not put them in the kick panels. all you'd see is the grille.
Well this is pretty much strictly a performance car, so I'm looking for whatever bass I can get at the cheapest price with as little modification as possible, and I don't want it to be seen AT ALL.
I had considered putting a 10" in the spare tire well, but I don't really understand how it can work well. Maybe someone can give me some insight?

well to be honest with you kickpanels are the best way to go. they're about the same amount of work as the other options you've listed. it'll sound the best too.
I've never heard of anyone mounting subs in the kick panels, but again I've never really looked into it. This is going into an 89' HF also. Can you link me to some infor about kick panel sub mounting? I just don't see how an 8" sub in the kickpanel could be too stealth.
