Default My POS European CA5 Accord

This is actually my first car, and it will forever have a special place in my heart, so it's gonna be a little hard replacing it. I like the Accord for the semi-sleek 80's-style body lines, low weight, it's reliability and low cost of ownership. Unfortuneately; there is as good as no aftermarket support for the CA Accords; especially since Place Racing went out of business and the B-series mount kit died with them. Anyway, it has 260,000 kilometres on the meter and will be replaced by a JDM RWD car when I am done with my education. Oh, there are more pics of my rustbucket in my signature.

That front end looks kinda like the '88-91 civic front.
Pretty cool.

Wow, I'm surprised you guys like it! Well, I guess it's a nice change from the EG/EK-Civic-norm (nothing against them - good cars).

True; it does!

Yeah, I like them. These are stock glass one-piece housings; similar to the JDM ones, with the exception of the side marker; we have a plastic dummy lens there, but the JDM ones have a functional reflector there.

Yeah, It's a Honda after all, so it'll probably run forever. About those JDM RWD dream machines; I'll probably end up with a Kuoki AE86 sedan, in original GT-Apex trim. If not; the 1991+ Silvia PS13 /w the SR20DET. Otherwise a larger sedan should be interresting; the JZX100 Chaser in Tourer V-trim. It's really hard to choose, since Japan has so many RWD sportscars (or can be made into sportscars) that were not exported to the other continents. I'm sure I could go on forever naming great JDM RWD cars, but those three are those I adore the most.

Yeah, I wish I had the money to buy new wheels; but unfortunatly I am a student for six months more, so it'll have to wait. But I know I'm dying to put on some gold RS Watanabe Eightspokes /w a deep polished lip. Sux to be poor.

Yep, it's stocker than stock!

I feel the same way. In my opinion the CA Accords were the last Hondas ever made to have that great 80's look.

Thanks! They are taken with my trusty old Canon PowerShot A60 and I also used a tripod for these shots.

How did you know his name!? Actually he's just a mascot; I've had that fluffy little duck ever since I was a kid.

Oh, thanks again for the comments, all you guys!

Wow that thing is pretty sick, There still is a number of things you can do to your car. They are starting to get more and more popular. Guy in town boosted his 88 lxi and it worked awesome.. Keep it up.
