Default Would like some opinions on this timing belt --- REPLACE? (Pictures)

While I was replacing the valve gasket cover & plug seals I took a look at the timing belt. I just bought the car and am not sure when the belt was replaced last. Based on these pictures, is it time to replace? Im not familiar with checking timing belts at all...

looks pretty warn out there, ,and since you don't know the history of the belt I'd replace it, much cheaper to replace it than the whole engine should the belt fail at high RPM bending valves and just making a mess of everything. My suggestion: Change It.

yea I'd definitely change that. Check your cover while you're in there too, looks like it might have rubbed at one point. Also make sure that you have the little balance shaft seal retainer, there was a recal on some makes/models cuz the seal could pop out and you lose all your oil!

needs to be change, And I strongly recomend you to replace the water pump and balancer belt also, and verify all the seals for any leaks (cam seal, crank seal, and balncershaft seal which this seal is the one that Honda did a safety recall on because they ten to pop out and in order to prevent the seal to pop out they installed a seal retainer which is like $5 box. That recall is on 94 to 97 accords and preludes but they're not longer doing it
