i have a 96 integra gsr with about 90k miles and was making a knocking noice couldnt really tell where it was coming from but now the car turned off and the car wont start anymore what could be wrong

 

Tow it somewhere and get a compression test.

Does the engine even turn over? Or does it turn but not fire? If it turns does it even sound like it has compression?

And 90k miles have you ever had your timing belt changed?

timing belt has changed car wont turn over though u can hear a clicking sound but i know its not the distributor or starter

 

What you said right there sounds like a dead battery. But i still cant think of anything that would create a knocking sound. I would def suggest a compression test.
