CAn anyone tell me that lives in PA about the laws on airbags? I want to put an aftermarket wheel on my 96 Accord with an airbag. Will my car pass inspection with out the airbag? I m going to be getting a sparco or momo wheel and wanted to see if i can do it legally or have to have some one do it for extra if youy catch my drift??? Anyone from PA know what im talking about????? any help is great thanks!

 

dont worry ull pass, alot of cars didnt came without airbags, my 90 lx did

 

sadly to sya my car does and after i think 92-93 it was a must to have them in the car. So thats why im worried if they would check or not , like if it is a mandatory piece of equipment to have on an airbag equpied car. like some parts if you take them off you won't pass, like i took out my winshield washer system and wipers cuz they suck and i drive better without them, so im not sure what to do and since i havea 96 my situation might be different! thanks though

Your right. After 94(I beleive) driver-side airbags were mandatory. However.. Most places wont even notice the airbag less steering wheel. Take it to a shop owned by a older man or something. Goodluck
