RSX INTAKE PIC INCASE ANYONES CURIOUS O.o
Heres pic. of my Injen warm air. Comes with heat shield i dont know if everyone has seen it but it looks real nice with that heat shield. Performance WOAH! it feels real nice i dont know why maybe our high compression but i can feel the diffrence, alot more than my warm air in my type R. Sounds mean too, once u hit vtec land, all the way through fourth i never left vtec. GOOD RATING FOR THIS!!

I belive its called a warm air intake because it traps the warm air from going to your motor ? and the longer extension is a cold air intake which brings in cold air from the undrneath your car or what have you and cools down your motor? something along those lines
Warm air or short ram intake is what its called so yeah

1) Is that dyno for real? only with intake? that's pretty kick-***
2) On a RSX-S, is 157whp typical? For a "200hp" car, 157whp is pretty pathetic. Sounds like the same inflated hp BS that the new SE-R claimed
if number 1 is true,

Not inflated BS because the 200HP is not to the wheels.

RMPCrazy - how much ws the intake and from where. Scuse me for being ignorant, I'm in NZ, and Injen isn't a big name here.

Wats up man.... i paid 160 for it but the shops try to slang it for 185-200 .... if u get 180 thats good. Yeah i dont know about those charts 157 to the wheel compared to 200 at the crank is a big diffrence! woah i dont think thats true but whatever? I believe the ITR has 195 to the crank and 173 to the wheel as i recall when i had mine..... i believe it was said that 10% of the horespower or something is lost when doing the hp measurement to the flywheel. so 10% of 200 is 20? id figure its around 180hp to the wheel. thanks thats my 2 cents

Have you got a URL to their site? Or an online shop? Also, did you do the fit yourself or was it done at a shop? And if you did it yourself - what about all the O2 meters and stuff? Take much time?
dun gota site yet it took about 15 minutes done at the shop well my friend owns it so its all good. he did one the day before thats why he did it so fast. u have to use one of ur previous screws from ur stock airbox i guess is what he said? its really fast real easy. o2? everything works out fine no messey rewireng dont worry.
I am in ew Zealand and am looking at picking up this part - can you email me RPM_Crazy?

This is probably why you feel the significant kick in the pants....
looks like it hella works to me.....
BTW a RSX-S makes more than 157 as a baseline.
to many variations of the same setup.
yeah, the way that this car responds 2 mods is simply amazing. the smallest things make the biggest difference. i gained about 30whp from my intake & exhaust.
