Here is a link to the helmet and some info about it.
Also the price is 269.98

How does this compare to the miller helmets and other auto darking helmets out there?

Thanks

the guy was saying he has problems with the miller batteries going dead since they get charged by soloar power. And he said you have to send them back for miller to replace the battery.

that's odd. You'd think that the UV's being put out by welding would be more than enough to keep a little battery charged.

I have a next gen. I love it. Personally i think the miller is a lil more comfortable but the viewing area is great on the nex gen. Also i think I can see clearer with the next gen.

I really like the helmet. i have used other ones besides this one and it is my favorite. it uses triple a's and they seem to last for a long while. mulitable shade setting and shutter speeds.

DO NOT GET A SOLAR POWERED HELMET!!!!!

you will understand why I say that when the solar cells become over heated and malfunction and you get flash burn.....do not ask me how I know this!!

if you are going to spend the moneyh spend it right

get a full battery powere Jackson shield.....I have owned over 10 different auto dark and by far the best one I have ever used is my Jackson EQC Professional or my Jackson EQC Master

they are WELL worth the money spent
