have a question on tha b20
hey guys i was just on that jspecjdm site and noticed that they had the b20 on there, i have never researched that motor, so i was wondering what tha difference between that and the b16 i am getting? besides 2.0 against 1.6 what other differences are there, like aftermarket parts, i also noticed that it didnt come with a transmission, what would i need to do about that, just curious.....thanks brian
Any cable tranny would work... it depends which route you are going...
Turbo? An A1 trans woul dbe pretty sweet.....
All motor? YS1 with LSD woul dbe pretty nice as well....
go to http://www.crvtec.com to learn more.... there's enough info there to keep you busy all day

The B20 motors are all non-vtec as well. Any B-series cable or hydro tranny will work on it. The B20 motor is actually a 2.0 liter B18b motor. In fact, they use the same head. I'm eventually going to build a B20 Vtec motor with a 1st gen B16a tranny for my 89 Civic Si.
what do you have to do to get v-tec on tha b20,i know i sound dumb as hell, is it worth tha trouble or should i just get tha b16 i was planning on getting?
To get vtec on the B20 you just need to put on a vtec head. Like LS/VTEC. B20 block with B16 head is a good combo, and yes it is worth it.
