Default EG CX owners... cigarette outlet??

Forgive me for being naive to all things EG, I'm a spoiled former 6G EX owner , but now with my CX I noticed my cigarette lighter isn't working. Now here's the question... is it supposed to? Does the CX come equipped with a functional cigarette lighter or was that not functional on this trim? I noticed the 15A fuse was in place in the fuse panel, but when I plugged something in the lighter, no workie (and yes the object works, I was just using it earlier in another car).

I own a 95 cx and the cig outlet works great. Now the one in my old 92 cx was weird...it worked with some thing...and did not with others.

pull the panel off and see if the wires e hooked to it, or take a test light and test the middle all the way at the bottom and see if it lights up. then test light the fuse for the **** of it and see if there might be some corrosin of some sort.

That means your lighter itself is bad, not the socket...
