Default please turbo guys i need help.....

ok so i am starting my turbo project and one of the most controversial things to me is what turbo to use. now i am going sleeve ls/vtec fully built bottom with fored pistons and forged rods with al that other stuff too......the head will have some work done to it and valvetrain and some decent cams.....now the main thing i need help with is what turbo to go with.........my two debates are the obvious sc61 and the t3/t04e....now i have been looking at turbos and they have all this .60a/r and 57 trim and all that stuff.....i have no idea what all that is.....can someone please help me out with understanding turbos.......i want to make over 500whp.......

As far as i know t3/t4 .63 A/R turbine, .48 A/R compressor, would have complete boost at 2000 rpm. So you are gonna be driving at full boost at all times pretty much.

I think you could get uo to 500 w/ the sc54 along with faster spool

I have an sc61 and i'm not at full boost unitl 5200-5400

hope that helps

ill be totally honest with you....when it comes to the world of turbo's, i really dont know much. i went with a basic rev-hard IIc kit and substituted a few parts here and there. i had put a rev-hard kit on my 1999 LS back in 01 i believe. i know nothing of tuning, but i did put most everything on my car myself. if you really want to find out the BEST turbo for your application, you need to be consulting compressor maps and what not. the best part of the world of boost to me is the learning process. unless you have an assload of money to just dump in a car, you should be taking a lot of interest in it yourself. not asking people online for the "ideal setup".

no matter which turbo you decide to get, just get a real fuel management system like hondata or aem, or something pretty decent to maximize power
