Default Tell me if this linkage is badly bent. PICS

I know GSR/ITR linkages are kinked. I don't know how much, and I recently found out that the member that sold it to me claimed it was bent in a previous post a long time ago (I researched his posts). Of course I read this after it arrived....

I don't know if that's true or not, but here are the pics. Hopefully we can get some comparison pics with a stock ITR linkage.

Here is the JDM ITR linkage I bought.

EDIT- Better pics

lol, I don't think it's supposed to be THAT bent... The part that bolts to the trans isn't even parallel with the linkage. Fukt.

Definately bent. I have an ITR linkage on my hatch (JDM also) and it looks NOTHING like that.

Ill try to bend it back. otherwise its going back to sender.

Maybe ill just use the stabilizer bar untill I figure a way to bend the shift bar back.

You will most likely do more damage then good trying to bend it back. Just return it.

Found this for a comparison, Vince.

Now, explain to me why you would by this thing at all? What does it do differently, exactly? And why the hell would you buy something from a post-***** 04 member. Shame on you

Seriously, you can easily bend that back to proper form. Just bolt the stabilizer end onto the transmission and tweak it as necessary until it fits...

I just said **** it and bought a new stabilizer bar for a '00 ITR new from acura. I should be picking it up Monday ot Tuesday.

its takes the slop out of the Gen 2 integra shifter that we all hate so much and replaces it with...well.....the feeling of a stock ITR. Precise and shorter throws without the need for any aftermarket stuff.

I was going to bend it back to its normal shape, but I don't have the resources or the time to do that properly. It requires a **** load of heat and a stabilizer on hand to compare it to.

I bought it from the guy because he had (has) good vouches from respected members. I just got shafted.
