205/50 15 integra R
have you guys noticed a decreased MPG w/ this set up? i know the 205/50 is slightly smaller in overall diameter, so i guess the car needs to make revs to get the same speed as the 195/55... average driving conditions like hwy and city, not hard racing or drag... thanks!
The diameter is about 1.5 percent smaller so your odometer will show about 1.5 percent more miles. This works out to a difference of less than half a mile per gallon (indicated only - actual mileage is the same).
I didn't notice squat on gas mileage. Same as always. If we're talking 1.5%, for a mile, that means the car has to drive an extra 80 ft per mile - that's what, 6 car lengths or so.

What is the difference between indicated & actual mileage?
