how much psi would yall run on a stock d16 i mean not even a short ram. and would it be pretty fast? its a greddy kit turbo ,intercooler, wastegate,injectors, blow off valve

stock d16 should hold whatever you want, but without having start replacing fuel items most guys stick to lucky number 7, more than that on most setups your gonna have to replace injectors and Fuel pump and get some real tunning done, crappy VAFC's wont cut it here

If its a POS why dont you just give it to someone that will use it correctly, like me.... but it should be able to hold 200whp DAILY some healthy D16z6 have been said to hold 250whp on stock internals but i doubt they drove it like that daily...

edit: I forgot to tell u that it depends on the shape of ur motor, if its in good healthy running order, it can take the above if not, i suggest a mild rebuild...

And when u ask how much a motor can take, refer to it in hp number not in Psi, because different turbos and setups make different power at the same psi...

And for a newbie, dont be so cocky....

 

another factor in how much boost it can handle is where it's going to be driven, temperature and everything. stock greddy kit is 5.5psi i believe, without intercooler. with a good intercooler, i'd say 9-10 psi, but the rods on a z6 are so small i'd be worried even at that level of boost. if he wants it to be fast, spend some money, sleeve the block, get new rods/pistons, upgrade the fuel system, get a turbo kit with intercooler, and a good program running it all
