alrite my alarm was workin fine till i left it for my mechanic to change my clutch.. he changed it and everythin worked fine.. but not my alarm doesnt work at all... i tried flippin the switch on it and the led doesnt blink at all... does anyone have a guess at wat it might be? because it really bothering me how i have to use my key to open the doors

 

did you try replacing the battery in the remote ?

 

its not the battery in the remote, i know for sure that it was some wiring from the install of the clutch, but i dont know if he disabled it or like forgot to connect something or blew a fuse.. so many possablities and i've never worked on an alarm before so i dont know.

ok is the led light on (solid/not flashing but lit up) or is it out?

if it is on solid then it is in valet mode and it just needs to be taken out, this is a simple operation that can be corected in a few mins by the installer of the alarm.

If it is out then the alarm probably isnt recieving power, check the inline fuse right by the battery/or fuse box and check that the power wire from the battery or fuse box is still plugged in.

 

its not valet mode, its completly off... its a viper 600 alarm if that helps.. im thinkin its ethier wire or fuse too.. not sure is it usally a really thin wire?

 

got it fixed, thanx a lot .. it was the wire.. it wasnt wired to the battery. b4 it was tired to my fog lights but i guess the mecahnic cut it on me
