how to take tint off
racer blade for the tint. dont know what to get the glue off of but my best guess is some kind of high powered cleaning solution should get it off. ur gonna rub and rub and rub. it dont come off easy.
i used lacquer thinner in conjunction w/ a razorblade. works wonders. just don't use the razor in the rear if you've got rear defrost......that's when the elbow grease comes into play.

agreed!...i used ammonia and a razor blade.....just make sure you dont the get the ammonia on any of your plastic as it may discolor it....just wipe it up asap if you do get some on the plastic and you'll be fine!

DON'T USE RAZOR BLADE...That's really a good way to take of the rear window defroster strip.. So not a good thing if you ask me..DO what Im about to tell you..spray your windows with Windex..and then cover them with a black trash bag, make sure to do this during the day when the sun is out so that it gets super hot in your car...do this as many as times you need to so that the glue gets hot so that the tint will just lift right up...Good luck

If you read the original post, you'll note that he's already removed the actual film, and now needs to remove the remaining adhesive.

i work at an audio and tint shop and we use an steamer and an sos pad to get the glue off. if you got access to a steamer, heat the glue and use an sos pad on the back glass to keep from damaging the defrost lines on the back glass. as for the sides, you can use the steam and a pad or razor(doesnt matter)

2 people and youll have it done perfetcly in no time. Have 1 person heat the window from the outside with a heatgun or strong blow dryer. The person on the inside scratches up a corner with the blade and slowly pull the tint off, make sure the part you are pulling is heated up enough so you dont leave any glue on there. Glue is a bitch, especially in the back.
Use the heatgun technique and you can do a whole car in about an hour, ammonia bullshit or whatever.

It does.
First, use Windex, and a razor blade. If there is still some glue remaining, bust out the Goo Gone.
