Where is the PCV valve?

Default Where is the PCV valve?

Is it on the intake manifold somewhere?

it's down by the bottom of the intake manifold,by the head.it has a hose hooked up to it .it's red shaped like a L .

the yellow circle is it.....


for anyone else that knows, am I right with the catch can diagram?

pink lines are hoses, green is the catch can....?

n/p...im 99.9 % sure that's how the catch can is supposed to be hooked up, just need to make sure

Yes, that is correct. The oil catch can should be inserted in between the PCV valve and the intake manifold. Have you ever seen the T.O.O. diagram which illustrates this?

Yes, that is correct. The oil catch can should be inserted in between the PCV valve and the intake manifold. Have you ever seen the T.O.O. diagram which illustrates this?

I thought you used the oil vapor line that went from the valve cover to the intake tube, not the manifold. That way you keep the oil vapor from gunking up the intake manifold and valves.......

i think air goes in that way, forcing the oil out the pcv valve...and into the manifold

Here is diagram from the Helms manual which shows the direction of air flow (both into and out of the engine).

The greddy can is pretty sweet. Costs a lot from what I heard also.
