How do I pick bearings?

LS/VTEC Main/Rod Bearings
Does anyone have a good experiance with the ACL bearing kits, or should I definately use the Honda bearings and plastiguage them?
I did some searching and it looks like Omniman recomends b16 rod bearings. Is this true, and are any mods needed to run them with LS rods and crank?
Another guy said that the K series bearings would work and had some super duper coating on them?
What have you guys been using and what have you been clearancing them to?

How are they sized? Colors like Honda or are they a middle of the road set like the ACL? I actually am getting a set of Clevite bearings when my crank comes in.
Does it matter that the crank was polished? Will the journals be smaller?
