Now that is a super-rip; I payed 400 for Motor, Transmission, spair head, two ecus and I still feel I got jipped a little.

If you can show my a legit shop in Florida selling DOHC ZCs for $400, I'll believe it. But until then, my side of the country does not have those deals.

Well save another $200 or so and get a ZC..or maybe a D16Z6....or find another D16A6 for $400 with everything, tranny and lower mileage.

Sorry if I draw the line for spending $600 for a motor such as the ZC, I'll keep my A6 and spend the extra $200 toward internals. I'll spend $600 though if it came with the transmission and it had the optional LSD.

Hmm, that's a bit too much. I only paid $175 for mine with tranny. Plus with that many miles, your going to have to be paying the extra cost for the rebuild. In my opinion, I would get a D16z6 or find anotehr D16a6 in the $150 range.

damn now i feel like i'm getting ripped off hard core.
I'm more or less eing forced into buying a D16a6 with only the wiring harness (no tranny, no flywheel) for $500 in a month
that is unless someone wants to sell me one

Woo-hoooo! $200 towards internals! Good luck with that...and good luck with finding the extremely rare ZC tranny w/LSD. Your statement wasn't a very good one.
Some people ask "why get the dohc zc?". Well, if you look at it the way I do, you'd probably agree with me. For $500 I can get a dual cam honda motor with under 50k miles and have about 20 more HP (over a d16a6). I'd gladly spend $500 for that.
****, there's a lot of people that still don't understand that value for some reason. Usually, these are the same people that spend $400 for just a header. Hmmm...$400 for a header which will add a couple HP, or save an extra $100 for a motor with 20 more HP and has under 50k miles most of the time. The answer is obvious for anybody that isn't ignorant. This is why people get the ZC.
Nuff said.
