GS-R has a factory installed girdle on the mains for support, that requires creative machining to an LS block for installation. simply put, it's stronger.

The machining isn't that bad....60 bucks at a local machine shop here. That includes moving the 2 side dowels and placing 6 dowels in the corner and sides and cutting the caps.

Was there a point to using the LS head other than being different? I'm seriously asking that, as I definitely am unsure. I was under the impression that the GSR head flowed better than the LS head.
