I was hoping to get some info on the difference between the hondata s200 w/boost , vs. the stage 2 w/boost. I know that the s200 replaced the stage2, but i would like more info. than that. I have a jdm b16 and im goin turbo, so im trading my vafc2 for hondata for tuning wise and since im putting together my own setup i wouldnt have to get missing link or fmu so id be saving money on that.. I would like to know how good the hondata stage 2 w/boost is really because someone wants to trade that for my vafc2. i would like to know if its a good idea or bad and why. or if i should just wait and find a s200 w/boost. thanks for your help ..

 

PR3, PW0 or automatic ECUs require the Stage 2/3/4
S100/s200 is OBD1 only

i've had both, pretty much the same except that the stage 2 has some bugs, while the s200 is newer and probably has less bugs. if you have a tuner who can tune hondata s200, then he'll probably be able to tune the stage 2 box. both great.
