I was hoping to get some info on the difference between the hondata s200 w/boost , vs. the stage 2 w/boost. I know that the s200 replaced the stage2, but i would like more info. than that. I have a jdm b16 and im goin turbo, so im trading my vafc2 for hondata for tuning wise and since im putting together my own setup i wouldnt have to get missing link or fmu so id be saving money on that.. I would like to know how good the hondata stage 2 w/boost is really because someone wants to trade that for my vafc2. i would like to know if its a good idea or bad and why. or if i should just wait and find a s200 w/boost. thanks for your help ..

I haven't looked at the hondata website recently but I believe stage2 is obd0 and s200 is obd1? I may be wrong..

you're wrong.

The s200 and the stage 2 are pretty much the same thing, however with the s200 you can add new features without modifing the ecu. You just enter a code and it unlocks the features. The s200 replaced the stage2.

Can someone hlep me out here and give me more information on these 2. should i get the stage 2b or wait for the s200b?

The stage 2 is no longer made, so you would be buying it used. Nothing wrong with it, it's probably a lot cheaper than a new S200, so if it has all the features you want, go for it.
