can anyone help me with this? I've got a 2000 hatch with a b18c bottom end and b16 head with 99-00 SI engine harness. My CDM cluster worked fine before the swap, now what's happening is everytime the tach hits 5grand it falls back to zero. This happends with vtec wired or not. I've also checked the VSS and it's fine. If it helps i'm running a obd1 p61. Please, any help would great this is driving me nuts and I don't want to have to rely on the VAFC ( which is not hooked up ) for a tach.
I should also add that the Dizzy is brand new from DizzyKing. And now the tach doesn't even work at all, but my speedo works just fine. Anybody?

Ok I've read every ECU post on here and search for every possible thread concering this. I'm thinking it might be in either the ECU or the Conversion Harness. SOmebody please shed some light on this.

 

well, maybe your just looking in all the wrong places.. my buddy has a 90 hatch si, and the very same thing was happening to him.. i was just a simple short behind the cluster.. the wire was kinda hangin out and it was making a good connection.. try that
