4th gen Prelude rear 6x9 speaker between seat
Hi all, I read some previous posts on the subject and would like some verification from all you 4th gen prelude owners.
Is the stock rear 6x9 speaker rated at 2ohms?
One more question: I do know that there is a little amp that powers the rear 6x9, however where does the wire that powers the stock amp originate from? I mean is there a turn on lead that turns the amp on that is separate from the headunit? I am afraid that by installing an aftermarket headunit with one of those harnesses you can buy to use the OEM connector will not accomodate for the 6x9 in the rear. I wonder if the stock headunit has an extra pin that turns the rear amp on and is something I would have to wire separately if I use an aftermarket headunit.
Thanks for any replies on this. This is actually for a friend of mine and I was not sure of the answer.
