Default striped out the bolt holes on my cf hood HELP!

like it says what should i do get a tap kit?
what size?
where to get bolts?
have an of yall done this?

emmmm thats not good. I would suggest taking it to a shop that sells and installes CF hoods.

take the bolts that go into the hood and bring it to home depot or something , find the exact size of the bolt and go get a tap for the size of the bolt. i did the same thing except not on my hood. i tapped them and they worked fine. bolts went right in.

Sand the taps down carefully, and get some metal helicoils. JBweld those in. Can't possibly go wrong with this, it's cheap and you can do it yourself.

yea taps with do the trick. and if not try the jb weld idea...and if you dont mind me asking where did you get the hood? andd how much?

i got the hood off of ebay from custom carbon for like 200 shipped so i guess you get what you pay for with some easyly stripped holes.
