I have a 95 civic with a gsr motor.How do i know exactly what year gsr i have? On the motor it says p72. Is there a way to check? The guy i bought the car said it was a 98 but i think its a 95 cause it got a obd1 p72 ecu in it. And will ls spark plug wires work on the gsr motor? thanks for helping a newbie.

 

i have the p72 obd1 but in the 93 teg with a B16a , i think it's from the 95 GSR

 

Find the vin# good luck

 

call the Acura deal..and give them the vin number...or drive there and ask them...with the vin number

 

if the VIN# is on the engine......
....the 10th digit is the model yr:
R=1994
S=1995
T=1996
V=1997
W=1998
X=1999
Y=2000
