will crx front bumper-hood-and fenders fit my 89 ef

not even remotely true. the 88/89 are one group, the 90-91 are another.
without changing everything at once you cant swap front bumpers, fenders, corner lights - they dont line up with each other. trim width is different. seatbelts and seats are different, dashboards and consoles are different. guage clusters are different, door window glass is different, door height is different, door panel is diffrerent, climate control and radio housing are different. this is all just on crx. 88 rear lower control arms are unique as well...

also if his 'ef' is EF8 or EF9 you need to change hoods, bumpers, etc.. too, or if it is a Civic hatch you will need to change the bumpers fender brackets and etc. also.
remember EF =/= USDM and Civics are EF's too.

Ok, this refers to usdm models only:
The hoods are all the same for both civic hatches and crx 88-91.
The headlights are also something that can be switched easily from any hatch civic or crx. The corner lens has a small differnce in the clips, but they are quick and easy to change.
