my gsr is due in for a rebuild and i was wouldering if i should have a 3 angle valve jop done to it. would it be done on both the intakes and exhaust? how much would it cost and would it be worth it?

a 3 angle job is (should be) the standard work they do. nothing special about it

 

what kind of gain should i expect?

 

Radius cut seat is better and make sure that they do any valve guide work first so that the seat is concentric with the valve guide. Yes a valve job is worth it if done properly but its all about flow and I'd suggest more port and polish but make sure someone with **** loads of experience does it for you some people assume porting and porting and more and more and more and they go overboard with the **** and actually loose HP because of losses in velocity where its needed. But yes a valve job is worth it especially if the thing is apart.

 

how much does it typically cost for the work in the head is already out?
