Default Camshaft

i have a 94 civic 1.6 sohc. is a CompCam good for it or should i just go for the Zex cam.

ZEX is a baby division of Competition Cams.
Baby means a tiny little office.

Same part numbers and all.

indeed the Comp cams = Zex, also the cam for sohc vtec is only $290 shipped from Zex.....I got one, defiantly worth it....

Hey eg6ajk. Have you run your car at a track with and without the cam? Did it improve your top-end alot or mostly mid-range? Do you think it's worth the money?

soon I should have some dyno number till then....butt dyno, most improvements from VTEC on....about 5000rpm till about 7500rpm....

i would defiantly buy it again if I went back....

Just wondering but in the import tunner article on the cam (well the street cam) the most improvement was in the midrange why is that different with the street/strip cam?

Cam tuning. EG6 has not properly set his for the 1.5L block I bet.

But then again maybe he likes the power upstairs.

mistabone you're right no cam tuning, damn post office lost my cam gear somwhere.....need to wait another 1 week or so that i can claim $$$
