Do I need new Pilot & Release bearing with ACT clutch install?
I bought a used ACT XTSS clutch, and it did not come with the pilot or release bearing. Will my current stock ones work or do I need to get new ones from ACT?
I also bought a new 7.5 lbs fidanza FW to go with the clutch.
Thanks.

Thanks for the reply. Do I need BOTH teh pilot and Release bearing then, or just the pilot?
How much do they run? Should I get the honda ones or the ones for both bearings or the ACT one? I have 60k on my current clutch.
Thanks.

You definitely want to change the throw out bearing. The pilot bearing is a PITA to change if you don't have power tools and I don't necessarily consider it as big of a deal; however if you have the tools and the time replace them both.
I just recently purchased an ACT HDSS and it came with a pilot and release bearing in the kit along with an alignment tool. They looked good so I used thouse. No complaints so far.
just got my fidanza flywheel and at clutch it seems like the act pilot bearing is too large for the fidanza flywheel.......is it possible they sent the wrong bearing
Definitely change the pilot bearing. It's probably the cheapest bearing on a honda. It's also not that hard to hammer out and tap back in.
