Default Semi-noob sayin' 'hi', ebay headlight concern...

Hey all..

I've been coming to honda-tech for a long time & never registered... now I am having a bad e-bay experience buying jdm conversion headlights and if this seller doesn't take care of it I will give everyone his info so they don't have the same experience.

Oh yeah, anyone know of a good *reputable* place that sells used or new jdm spec headlights? (in case the ebay thing ends up ugly)

Oh yeah... the car:

'95 integra GSR, black/black

Mods:

USDM Type-R Trans
Exedy organic clutch & lightweight flywheel
RS*R Ex-Mag exhaust, straight pipe, ebay Type-R copy 4-1 header
Tein SS coilovers
rollin w/ the fat 5's (for now)

what exactly is your bad experience?? deadbeat seller, just not being able to get ahold of them, what is the difference in time since you paid and haven't heard anything?

Are you talking about the one-piece headlights, or the SirG?

Item was described as having no cracks, both headlights were cracked. Also, were in generally poor condition in other ways (i.e. headlight casing was glued back onto housing, one headlight had a mounting tab which was melted). So far he has been willing to send me a different, better pair, so we'll see how it goes. If he takes care of it, I'll let you guys know. If he doesn't, I'll post info so no one else gets screwed.

They are black housing jdm integra lights, this winter I am doing the 'bling-bling' JDM front conversion. I have had good luck buying off of ebay up until now, these were DEFINITELY not as described in auction.

My main point of this post was 1. to introduce myself 2. have a forum to speak out if this goes badly 3. be able to buy stuff from classifieds (eventually).

Thanks all

oh yeah, passworjdm.com, inlinefour.com, and modacar.com only have new headlights... not used. I was hoping to save some cash & get used ones, but after this I may just buy new ones.

Thanks all, ~jvtec95

okay, I would get him to send you another pair...but depending on what type of person this is......I might hold on to the set that you have until you get the other ones, just to make sure that you aren't worse off than you were in the first place. Just my opinion.
