Acura Integra All Integra Except ITR

got 1G to spend and here are what i have in mind...need some advices

Default got 1G to spend and here are what i have in mind...need some advices

gsr97 in civic coupe 95ex....(thinking of going turbo application for later) so i would look for an upgrade that benifit turbo application in my hybrid
current mods:

1. cai
2. blox im
3. type r header
4. 2.5' piping with car sound +greddy muffler

everythings else are complete stock
ecu, radiator, block, head, fuel system, oil system

things have in mind to pick are:
1. new radiator
2. apexi vafc2
3. skunk2 cam or crower or buddyclub 3+ (need vafc to tune) some valvetrain,springs
4. obd2 to obd1, obd1 ecu with chipped
5. fuel system (fpr, etc)
6. overbore stock TB to 63 or 64mm
7. port and polish head...(if $1k is enough included labor)

8. need your help to lead to me the right path...thnakx

P&P the head if you can...great gains for any application...might as well do the IM a little too.

Your Gsr tranny is fine, LSD would help but if your making like 240whp it can be control by good tires. Best thing is to save up more and go turbo right away and then build later...

LSD is one aspect, the fact that it uses multiple synchros on each gear as opposed to single synchros is nice, plus you get a tighter gear ratio. In addition, the GSR tranny has a fairly high price tag associated with it, so going to an ITR tranny would leave enough cash flow to go ahead and invest in a stronger clutch or lighter flywheel or something.

Note that this is my opinion.

are you absolutely set on buying performance mods? personally i would do some suspension mods (eg ominipower coilovers, itr rear sway, itr strut bar) or some get some new wheels/tires.

oh forgot about suspension i got front/gear strut bar, skunk2 coilover + tokico blue shocks....

no swap bars....they are nice and well worthy...i have my mind to them too

stolenteg is right, save up for turbo and dont buy misc. parts right now. going turbo is going to require a lot more than $1k. Or you could start buying parts for custom turbo instead of buying a preset one.

My adivice would be to build head or block....things like block guard or sleeves, pistons, rods etc., and head with valves, springs, retainers, cams, etc. and i don';t know if oyu can do all that with only 1k but u can try lol but thats wut i would recommend

wooo sound so tempting man....i think i need 3g's for that kind of work for sure...lol but good point though

1k is too far from turbo setup...i need around 3k too for turbo....

I would get a nice set of cams and build the head that way you are ready for the boost when u get more money flowing in
