Default VAFC tune

i searched and just had a few more questions

my ls/vtec is currently tuned for skunk2 stage2s but right now it's running stock b16 cams so the tune is a lil messed up. The vtec engagement is at 6200 and down low it feels liek ti's raelly rich. Like way too mcuh gas, it bogs a lot...my friend has a vafc he asys he will give to me for 50 bucks, could i tune my ecu a lil better? I'm thinking just leaning it out a little bit and lowering vtec to about 5400. What do you guys think? Thanks

In a nutshell, a properly controlled wideband will yield an extremely acurate air/fuel reading which thus allows you to correctly tune your car. Almost all dyno facilities are equipped with a wideband for tuning purposes.

A wideband O2 sensor gives you the exact air/fuel ratio making it easier to tune. They're rather expensive for most people, so most good tuning shops have one for you to use.
