Questions from a newbie
Recently i sold my 93 mazda mx6 LS, then i purchased an 04 civic si. I am new to this vehicle and i know very little about it, other than its a honda and should be reliable. It will be used as a college car, driving to and from home every weekend. Home is about 50 miles away. I enjoy autoxing but im not sure if i want to change anything from stock just yet, or at least untill the warrenty is up.
I had a few questions as well:
Is it recommended that the oil be changed right away from regular oil to a synthetic?
What is the engine code on the civic?
What is recommend for suspension on the car (i.e. Brand, spring rates)
If i purchased after market wheels what size is recommended, and what offsets do people use?
Any other information about the car would greatly be appreciated.
Thank you,
Jason Nguyen

No synthetic oil shouldn't be changed right away. Generally, people tend to wait around 30K till they switch to synthetic.
The engine code for the ep3 is k20a3
Recomended suspension all depends on what its used for. Auto X, get coilovers, 22mm rear sway with tie, x brace and you should be set.
after market wheels, 17" are the recommended and the 04-05 has a 45+ offset.
Go to EPhatch.com, you'll find everything you need to know about our EPs there.

i dunno about 30k miles. i changed to mobil m1 syn at 5k.
u should def wait at least until 5k or 7500 to change the oil. whether switching to synth or not.
the factory oil has stuff in it that's supposed to help break in.
