Default anyone with a cartech in the bay area want to help a guy out?

when i got my cartech i didn't know what that 'lil piece of white plastic was. i set it aside, now it's lost. since i went to bigger injectors... i need it! (it's the restrictor for the boost line)

the bleed screw is backed out all the way to get appropriate rise rate with the new injectors, and i fear it's going to fall out b/c the spring isn't putting any pressure on it. it's going to take a while to get one from cartech.

so.... does anyone in the bay area have one from their cartech that they don't need at the moment? i would of course replace it with the one that cartech sends me.

thanks in advance, i appreciate it!

i do have a vafc, but it's not really up to the task of pulling that much fuel. a few of the guys over at the FI teg forum on HB suggested just getting one at kragen or whatnot, and surprise surprise they have something similar. it seems to do the trick... thanks though!

glad you got your fix...

you must have a god awful amount of fuel to pull if 50% doesn't do it for u
i understand though ..as i'm in the same boat...that's why i use a PMS

ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh you have the PMS?

i am really close to getting one of those. how do you like it? are you using the windows software with it, or just the keypad? in standalone or piggyback mode?

this is on a boosted obd2 teg?

yes to most of your questions

yes, i'm using an EFI PMS.
yes, i love it. yes, it works good.

I wish i was using the windows software...but it aint worth 3 bills to me. I'm using another datalogging software on my laptop...that and the pms keypad have been great for tuning. So ya..i'm in piggyback mode at the moment.

and yes...obd2 gsr i'm coping tho

Sorry, no cartech here, but I was thinking, we should have a meet sometime with all the boosted hondas around the bay area, compare setups etc etc..
any thoughts?

that's a good idea... keep it limited to FI hondas only. that would be a lot more interesting than 60 lowered civics, integra, and preludes in a parking lot.

i only personally know a few other guys, but i bet we can round up a good number. maybe late january?

Trust.. what's your setup now.. I remember you were getting rid off the charger and I assume your on a fully built motor built by you with the DRAG kit!! Am I correct? With the charger, you were wicked fast..

$6 G's more on your car??? woohaaa... Can you list 'em or is it confidential... Better yet, do you have a dyno chart? I think it was Krazy or you that told me you were taking out snakes (e.g. cobra, viper) left and right.

As for me, the GREDDY kit is just fine. Don't want to get too extremely crazy and have no time to work on my car, ya know. We really do need to have a meet as soon as the weather calms down...

sup man.
last i dyno'd was at 13psi with some nasty exhaust piping (way too small)... it put down a decent 270whp 218wtq on 91octane..

my next dyno will come soon...basically 15-16 psi with fat *** piping..
with this setup..nate's right...stock viper, zo6, modded cobra's etc, dont hang.

I have yet to beat this local guy with a stock 00 911 tt tho. we go head to head all the way to about 120. (he pulls with his awd tt launch, i catch up when i hit max boost....his second turbo kicks and we stay side by side)

later i plan to go turbo cams and build up my valvetrain.

we should have a meet...if it'd stop damn raining already.

Pretty nice! You been going to Dynospot? Let me know next time you're going, I'd be interested in coming and watching.

Yeah late january is good for me provided it's not raining
It's nice and sunny today so I drove the civic to work... got a little excited and ended up going up to 95mph on montague!
