Is there a way to remove fuel cut off on a 99 civic?

Default Is there a way to remove fuel cut off on a 99 civic?

I know theres a way to remove fuel cut off on a 99 ex. I was wondering if anyone could tell me how... and if i do remove the fuel cut off what is the highest i could rev saftely? No stupid remarks please...

Rev as high as the ecu lets you. There is no point of revving higher than that when you're not even making anymore power.

I think your question already covered that quite well.

the y8 redlines at 7000 rpm, why do you want to go higher?

ya the y8 motor is done at 7000 and the rev limiter is at 7200 no need to push that hard unless you get it balanced and blueprinted for higher revs

If your motor is not built, why would you want to make your engine rev past the normal limit? There is no point. You are making all the power the stock motor has before the rev limit anyways. Don't screw around and over-rev. You WILL damage your motor.

Sorry, its a stupid idea. Your cam only makes power to 6600, the redline is 7000 and the fuel cut is 7200. If you rev past that you risk floating a valve...and theres no point unless you have an aftermarket cam.
