measuring how far to lower coilovers?

im trying to measure how far to lower my GC coilovers. i want to lower 1.75", do i measure from the top to the top of the gold thing or from the bottom of the threads to the bottom of the gold thing?

Why dont you measure the center of your wheel well from stock and untwist till you get the 1.75?

you are suppose to measure from top of wheel (not tire) to bottom of fender wheel well
