ok heres the deal i had a swap done by a company h22a into my accord but they dont know whats wrong now.
whats wrong: check engine light is on and it says its the agr or something .

what happens. after the car is warmed up for awhile it start going crazy on me.. i'll be at a stop light and it will go from 600 rpm all the way to 1300 (about) and then back down.. up and down it keeps going.. it only does this when the car is stopped.

please help me .. they tell me hondata might fix it but is there any other way... what could be wrong.. thanks

 

check for iacv, fitv, vacuum leaks

 

if you havfe a bouncing idle you may have a vacuum leak. Make sure all the open ports are capped on the intake manifold.

 

my engine swap did the same thing check the idle air control valve the adjustment screw should be above the throttle body that could be part of the problem james

 

yeah my friend has an h22 accord and it does the same exact thing like he is revving it up or something. so i asked him what it was and he said it was a vacuum leak.the company who installed his engine told him that
