Well, if you remember my previous thread (https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1049832) I passed except for my PCV breather hose and I had some high HC's at 25mph.
I got a new air filter, gapped my plugs down to .038-.039, replaced the breather hose with fuel/emisions hose from Napa, and took 3% fuel out from 3500 rpms down in uberdata and burned myself a new chip.
Results: PASS!
Setup:
-1995 B18C1
-USDM ITR pistons
-Skunk2 Intake manifold
-2.5" Carsound cat, 2.5" piping to 2.5" ES Oval muffler
-OBD1 P72 ECU chipped with uberdata (5500 vtec, 3% leaner from 3500rpms down)
Here's some new pictures from the trip today.

3% leaner really helps HC's
I was surprised that my NO went down as well. I thought this would go up with the leaner mixture.

Waiting for my sticker to be printed:

A cool car that was there getting inspected

Snagged a pic of the guy putting it on:

here it is:

I just realized they forgot the "A" on Honda Oh well.
I can't wait to get pulled over and asked to pop my hood now
I'll do so gladly!

Good job
I'll never truely understand you Californians and your wacked out pollution inspections but from what I hear its a bitch and a half. Another testimony to do it right and it's legal.
Round of drinks if you're ever in one of the Florida Meets on me

Hey if u are using a 98 GSR head,Is it necesary to have two o2 sensors hooked up if u already convert everything to OBD1.Or 1 o2 sensor will be just fine.
I have the exact same setup as urs and in need to pass the SMOG.
So far I'm putting my esxhaust back to stock since it's running open header.Using a stock p28 ECU.
What other things I have to do to make it pass?

In vegas they're only worried about it if there's visible smoke. There's a number you call to report a vehicle. It's ???-smog or something. If the dmv gets enough calls with your license plate you get a fix it ticket in the mail. It's nothing like cali.
Nevada doesn't care that you have a b16 with 88 civic emission controls. The only requirements are a gas cap and passing the sniffer.

I thought the BAR club was reserved for people running 14.7 PSI and higher.

I'm not sure if you'll be able to conver to obd1 or if you'll need to go obd2. You should talk to your local REF because they're all different. There are no rules. They're just "guidelines". You should ask him if you can wire it up obd1, since it would be cheaper to do it that way, and since the motor physically remained the same (besides the wiring) from 94-2001 or whatever. The REF I went to just asked me what year the engine was. I never saw him get down and look at the casting on the head, or run any block numbers.
Either way, that p28 isnt gonna cut it. You'll need a p72, depending on which OBD the REF lets you run, either obd1 or obd2.
Again, they're all slightly different, so talk to your local one and see what he says.

Good job on getting it BARed...I'm pretty surprised that you were able to do it with your mods list too. I hear those smog techs are pretty good at what they do, but I wonder if I can pass of my Kenji chipped P28 as a P72.

Well the Skunk2 intake manifold and the Carsound cat are totally legal.
They dont know about the pistons or the chipped ecu
It passes "external" inspection. heh
